The location is great, the room was like any other room, but Oliver was exceptional! He made the stay so much more enjoyable! I will be a returning customer!
Came here for afternoon tea. A present from my niece for my birthday. Very nice indeed. Superb views of the harbour, amazing having tea & watching ferries go by. Good service as well.
We booked one night at the oban bay hotel for a last minute trip, and everything about our stay was great. The rooms and corridors do look like they get a lot of use, but our room was clean, warm and tidy. The bed in our classic double room was big and comfortable and we had a peaceful night's sleep. We ate in the restaurant at night and the food was excellent, every dish surpassed our expectations. And just to top it off, the breakfast was fantastic. Best of all though, was the attitude of each and every staff member we encountered. So friendly, helpful, positive and professional, they look like they are genuinely enjoying their jobs which is so good to see. Thankyou for making this a very relaxing night away for us!!
One of the best stays we had in Scotland was at the Oban Bay Hotel. The hotel was inviting warm and cozy. The service was wonderful and food was great. The town area was all walkable, Oban was an enchanting old village and the dock side dining is a real hoot. You want fresh of the boat, you got it. That was my favorite part of our stay.
We had a delicious meal here in early September. It was beautifully served and cooked to perfection. The dining room had a nice vibe to it and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was lovely to eat freshly caught fish and seafood. The front of the hotel has a gorgeous view over the bay and is cosy and welcoming.
Fantastic hotel. Booked last minute due to another place letting us down. Great hotel and the teacakes went down a treat love the quirky touches old telephone old radio etc
What’s not to love ! The Location of this hotel is superb . A short walk out of town overlooking the bay. The rooms are cozy well appointed with everything you need. There is a beautiful conservatory room at the front of the hotel where you can enjoy the breathtaking views whilst sipping a cocktail or having a delicious afternoon tea. The food is excellent and the breakfast delicious and plentiful. The staff are wonderful and can’t do enough for you. The only downside is the hotel is not very accessible and the lift wasn’t working . There are a lot of stairs which did cause us a problem. There are a couple of parking spots at the hotel but no large car park. We however never had a problem parking nearby . We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay and will be booking here again for next year . Thank you to all the wonderful staff who helped to make this a fabulous experience.
Absolutely stunning bedroom looking out onto the water. So nice and warm with a very comfy bed! Staff were so friendly and the breakfast was fabulous ! Wishing we were able to stay for longer. Thank you for such a perfect stay!
